greddy profec b spec 2

is anyone using this???

consensus seems to say that the Profec B is a good choice for our T2. The spec 2 version is even better because it has a digital display that shows peak boost!!

From their site:

Based on the very popular B-Spec., the all new PRofec B-Spec. II’s basic function to increase boost is as easy as the original, with an added built in boost pressure display and optional features like real-time, peak or last boost display (in either kPa or PSI). There are optional warning and boost limiter functions that can be programmed to offer much more control. The two presets values can be stored and are executed by a larger capacity inline solenoid valve. This unit does not require extensive programming and is ideal for low to high boost levels for single or twin turbos with actuator or external wastegates. The GReddy PRofec B-Spec. II is available in black or silver cased head units.

Here is my question: what do they mean by "optional features like real-time, peak or last boost display (in either kPa or PSI). There are optional warning and boost limiter functions that can be programmed to offer much more control. " Optional??? You have to buy something else to make this work? I don't see any accessories for this device on Greddy's page?

Thanks,

dewey

the only "optional" accessory for the profec B is a little button you can attach to your steering wheel so you can go from hi/low boost with a press of a button on your steering wheel instead of at the profec B.

those optional features you mention are well options you can choose while using the profecB. You can set the profec to display peak boost etc.

here's that little button.

Our Remote Switching System allows the user hands-free modulation between high boost and low boost settings on either of our PRofec boost controllers.
