Greddy BOv Question

Ok, So I went to RotorSports and got a new hose, ( I cracked the last one). And now its on there, all hoses on and clamped tight, now I can start the car but stalls out. I then put the stock one on and started fine and tried the GReddy again, and samething starts, then dies.

I then concluded that it must be the hole in the intake where the stock BOV was. Am I correct, I think I gotta plug it with something but what. And where can I get it.

Here's the hole I'm talking about:

If you removed the air bypass valve you need to "plug" the opening that is in the intake. Large Cork until you get to a parts store. Use a 3/4" expandable rubber plug.

plug that massive vacuum leak you just created. go get a plug from autozone, put some RTV on it, and shove it in the hole.

Did you buy the GReddy BOV kit used?
Brand new, the kit has an aluminum plug for that hole.

After taking a lot at those pics, it's actually wrong.
That lower nipple will leak into the lower chamber that vents into the large exit.  If you have this BOV vented back into the intake downstream of the AFM, it would not be a problem.  If you try and hook this up while being open vented, it'll induce an intake leak - on AFM equipped vehicle (like our stock FC's), it'll drive you crazy!  I do not recommend connecting that bottom fitting for 99% of the owners out there - leave it disconnected.

You can confirm this by blowing into that fitting (a length of hose will help), and you can hear the pressure leaking out the exit pretty easily.
