So I hope you all had a good weekend, cause I got to wake up on Sunday to find that some ******* punks decided to smash in my driver side window and rear hatch with a golf club or bat or some crap!!! $450 for a hatch, and $250 for the window... plus to re-tint it! If I don't find one in a junkyard, someones gonna die!!!

Too sad to take pics but I might later. I duct taped it up so if it collapsed it wouldn't get glass everywhere.... wait what am I saying, it is everywhere! Hardest part was getting it out of the suede steering wheel!

 

I know the feeling, i had my truck broken into last year.

Of course they broke out the biggest window on it, which luckly only cost me $250 to replace.

They then stole my amp and sub, which i would have given them, they were cheap anyways.

What REALLY hurt was my tool box, i have still not replaced most of that stuff to this day.

thats why i added glass coverage onto my car some one breaks it ill just call geico ...but that does suck man sorry. did they steel anything?

had my passenger glass broken last year. Still haven't replaced it. The bastards broke all of the trim pieces to get at the stereo too.

 

They didn't steal anything, which almost makes me even more mad, because they solely just fucked with my car for no reason, just to be ******* and cause destruction. But now I'm broke for two weeks, and can't get my exhaust when I wanted it. They just through me off, and for what, for 1 sec of hearing glass break! Makes me wanna kill someone!

But I did locate a window and hatch at the yard. $460 plus install, then just the tint.

I always get an aftermarket alarm sys installed on my vehicles

 

Doubt it would have stopped it, might have let someone see who did it or stop them from breaking both widowns though.

 

I have a very nice security system and it definitely went off, I woke up half way through, ran outside, not seeing the broken glass. I was lookin in the park for about 30 seconds, didn't see anyone and went back to bed. If they were going to rob me, I'm sure it might have helped. But I just heard on the radio this morning, there have been 7 reports of someone breaking their windshields. And I haven't reported mine. So it was some kids on a rampage or somethin, so at least I know I don't have any enemies. I'm probably going to report it now, just cause they might actually get caught.... hopefully.... doubtfully. But it might be worth it. I just hate dealin with the police, they're always dicks! Even when you need help, they're just such ******** I always regret calling them!

 

sucks.. i had someone vandalize my old 240sx.. someone poured house paint over it.... and i dont have any enemies i knew of, that was back in 02.

 

Too bad you aren't around here. The local yard wanted 125 for the rear hatch, struts, and wiper assembly. I also had some windows I would have given you for shipping, but I threw them away last year cause I was moving and didn't have room.
