Great junkyard find, and 2 questions.

I work at a garage in SW Philly near the Junkyards, and when my friend called me and told me that just 500ft away at another yard they had a blue 89 GXL I rushed over so very quickly.

I got a driver door, both GXL side mirrors, the sunroof, the rear mirror, a S5 spoiler, complete Racing Beat catback system and the S5 tail lights all for $300.

Now for the questions
1. The S5 TII spoiler (or atleast it looks exactly like it) like this one
https://www.rx7club.com/attachment.p...7&d=1173304141
That fits on a S4 right? All I have to do is drill holes for the fitment?

2. The car came with a Racing beat cat back exhaust (lucky me ). My question is that, is this the same as the road racing exhaust? I know it doesnt matter but I have the Road race header and presilencer, and I am about to order the road race Y pipe. Does it bolt on to the Road race y pipe? The catback came with the RB y pipe and mufflers. (and I was about to sawzall the y pipe....)

1. Probably, but I am not $100% sure

2. Just look at the pics at racing beats website and it should be easy to figure out. If by road race y pipe you mean the true dual system then, no, you will need the extension tubes in order to connect the mufflers.

I'll probably order the ypipe and extension tubes next week.

For probably 200$ more, you could have gotten at free shell with the interior goodies to sell. :P

not sure but if they are anything like the places around here they dont sell whole cars. one time i saw a nearly mint GSL-SE go to the crush cause the MFers wouldn't sell it to me whole.

the yards over here wont sell cars like that. Insurance risks. Also, some of the cars they dont have titles to them.

That sucks! The ones here sell cars, but not with titles. But you don't need it to get the car on the road here.

Me and friends have bought countless 240SX's to turn into DD drift cars that we've found at junkyards.
