Great Find at UPull

Hey all, I went down to upull today to pick up a 86 style overflow bottle. Well I took off the overflow and I decided I would have a look at the cars since a couple were hadn't been there long. I took a look in the back and found a RB pre-silencer I spent $5.00 to get it.

The car was a 86 GXL with 5 lug big brakes and I think it was an auto, of course the calipers were already gone . Would it also have a LSD, and beefeir sway bars also?

And I just bolt the overflow on the strut tower and reroute my overflow hose to the new bottle correct? Assuming my 87 has all the mounting points that the 86 has.

That looks familiar. And I have a 86 GXL with the same brakes. *runs to garage to see if car is still there*

Good find I love scores like that at junkyards. Once a buddy and I found these 4-lug Shelby panasport looking wheels (all 4). He bought them for less than 100 sold them for a couple more

The junkyards here charge an arm and a leg for even stock parts. Great find though.

So I now know that all S4 GXL's have LSD. The only problem with the one at this place is it's an auto, I don't know if it would be worth it to get that diff, cuz I would have to swap out the 3.9, but I could just get a 4.33, which means I would have to do R&P swapping no matter what. And opions on swapping Ring&Pinion gears?

yeah pretty sure LSD came standard on all 86 GXL's, mine did anyways, great find, there's only a couple of pick and pulls around here and the mostly carry domestic crap!
