A thin coat of gear oil is not a bad idea on splines and outter part that seal rides on. If your u joints have grease fitting then grease them.

im not shure they have grease fitting they are just connected to each other with only a thing line exposed that i may be able to squeeze some in but no direct fitting to use, and just use 90 weight or something to grease oil the spline?

wheel bearing grease is fine for the inside and outside.

the driveshaft would have had to of been modified previously for it to have grease fittings, the OEM u-joints are staked into the shaft and have no fittings(non-servicable).
