Eyecandy, that is a huge difference in steering angle. Looks like I will be talking to you again in the near future.

And on to my next question. Some people have mentioned using a steering quickener to get past the fact that some of our cars don't have power steering. What is this and where could I find one? Just trying to figure out the best solution to my problem.

Are you talking about the Spindel mod? Relocating the outer tie rod? If so, here are a few pics.

Washers seems to work for me at 80mph+ drifts.... but if you want designer parts to floss the kit is pretty cool.

FC works better when you have a V-8 in it.

FCs drifts better with more weight in the front and more torque at the wheels. Simply having 20-30 pounds moved to the front can make a noticeable difference, 50-100 pounds definitely will slow the rotation down.

i got a set of spacers my friend made at a machine shop that look like thick washers and they have the same improvement when it comes to more angle.

on another note, i drift my fc and im glad i started learning on it, for one, its too crowded by nissans, and i love my mazda!

familiarize yourself with this thread https://www.rx7club.com/drifting-226/official-drift-setup-thread-877465/
Most of the people that are saying that drifting a 7 is hard or not worth it most likely don't have cars setup to do it in the first place. It isn't like your typical driftomatic 240, but it is still a great car to drift. your car would be great for drifting if you go with an lsx setup and some nice bushings and coils. I personally drive an lt1 fc car that's setup for drifting and it feels far more solid than any 240 I've ever drifted, but that's just me.

As far as angle goes check out pbm. I currently have the mazdatrix super angle on my car, but it isn't enough to take advantage of the power and torque i'm making.
