before i blew up my car, i could rev the car up real high (~7200 rpm) and then shortly thereafter it would just ******* hit a brick wall, and it feels like a governor. It's not, though. You're just going WAY PAST the efficiency of a stock motor. In my case, I was burning mucho oil past ~6200 rpm, too, so the oil was just ******* up the A/F mixture to the point where i had no power. your car smoke at startup or high rpm?
