Govener on 85 Gs 5 speed

I took my car to 100mph the other day and thats as fast as she whent i plan on racing this car all the time at the track. so can some one tell me where and how to remove the govener

umm, there isnt one. This isnt a lawn mower, despite what youve heard. Get rid of the cats and get a nice freeflowing exhaust and mod your intake a little and u may pass 100

I've had the GSL up to 115 or so before... You should check some things... When's the last time you did an ignition tuneup, cleaned the carb, changed the fuel filter, etc...

I never heard of any type of governor on a 1st. generation RX-7. Try a tune up etc. All my fbs exceed 100 mph[and I own 3 at the present time].
