Man, I just changed the motor mounts and the tranny mount out with new ones.

WHAT A DIFFERENCE!! The car is smooth as silk.

I highly recommend it!

When it's cold (as in winter) my 90 vert (automatic) will vibrate pretty bad at times. Seems to come from the tranny. Think replacing the mounts might help me?

This may be a dumb question, but I've never done it before so bear with me. Do you have to remove the engine to change out the motor mounts?

Thanks,
Isaac

You will need to at least take the weight off the mounts with something while you are doing it. I suppose you could jack it up from below with a hydraulic floor jack once you loosen the mounts.

I used my cherry picker to jack up the motor. Once the weight was free, I just changed the mounts out... Toook less then 1 hour.
