Alright I got a ticket for my so called loud exhaust. I have a three inch downpipe to a HKS muffler. Cops in Philly say my exhaust is fine but Jerzy cops say different.

I was thinking of piping in an additional muffler that is 3in/out that won't cut down on flow like a magnaflow race series or something.

Would that help in keeping the fuzz of my back until I can get the full racing beat system?

The other question is that I have a wideband O2 piped towards the rear of the exhaust. Would it be ok to put in a muffler before that and still be able to get an accurate reading?

i've always seen and been told to have the o2 sensor right at the downpipe/headers/exhaust manifold

Thats if your running the NTK sensor and for only quick tuning sessions. NTK sensors are very expensive.

I'm running PLX-M300 that uses a Bosch sensor and are cheap, but can't take the heat like the NTK sensors and I run it all the time.

buy a silencer..... or one of those crazy variablr valve size mufflers. the more gas you give it the bigger the tip gets!!!!
