got a question about the (1986-92) on the 2nd Gen specific??
wasn't '91 the last year of the 2nd gen Rx7? and wasn't the '92 only in Japan and a 3rd gen body style. i could be way wrong but i thought i read that somewhere.... please let me know so i dont look like a total DA.. (which i may already do)

91 was the last year of the FC coupe. The FC convertible continued production through 8/92
The FD actually started production in late 91 in Japan (right after the FC3S stopped) then stopped and restarted production about 6 months later.
