The car will handle better with the same width tire all the way around. The smaller tires up front will make the already understear happy car even worse. But you will only notice this in tight autocross, unless you are an absolute psycho on the roads.

It looks pretty freaking good.

The car looks great! I really like the wheels and new breaks look mighty swell. Its lowered I'm pretty sure?
Just needs side skirts and a front kit to make it look mean!! hehe, happy modding.

Yeah....it is lowered. When I had the stock 15" BBS it looked dropped. When I installed the 17's...it just raised the car back up. I have Eibach pros springs....Probably in Jan or Fed I will get C-overs. I do want to get side skirts and a front dam on there.

Thanks for the comments!

Actually, I'd like to just double check.

Enkei NT-03's? If not, and there's a knock-off I'm unaware of; please DO TELL!

!?

I've got 5Zig Fireball's with 42 offset, Falken Azenis 225, 45, 17's at all corners and I'm about 1/100th of an inch from rubbing on the spring in normal operation turning. If I go to full lock the tire comes well into contact with the spring at about 7/8ths of the way to lock.

By my math, there's no way you aren't rubbing. The Back must be close too.

I took a subscription insert (you know those things loose that always fall out of magazines?) and stuck my hand in the fender gap, stuffed it between the spring and the rubber. Like I said, it's really, really close. Under load I can't believe there isn't rub, but there doesn't seem to be. I'd check it out.

I have been driving around....and chk clearance. It IS close to the strut, but it does not rub anywhere. The left front tire DID touch the fender, no major damage. I rolled back the fend "lip" with a bat and a heat gun.

The tire width, I noticed, is different from other mfgs. Some 225's are wider then other 225's. It all depends on who the mfg is.

That's true; weird isn't it.

No rubbing, that's good, I was just looking out for a fellow rotorite. Enjoy.

I am running 235's Rage tires. I do not know who the MFG is....I never heard of them. But, the treadwear is 380...that is damn high for a performace tire.
