yes they are FIA certified and it cost 185 cdn brought to my door. I only bought one because my passengers are not gonna like the feel of this seat like i do, they prefer the loose bottom and the reclinable option.

im a little chubby actually, no where near skinny, and it fights like a glove. a tiny tiny bit loose. very comfortable, but i need lumbar support so i bought a pillow and put it on my lower backside and now i can sleep in this thing.

That looks great! Are you going to mount them on sliders, or just fix them in one place?

Ya, I know the feeling. Finding an inexpensive aftermarket seat that I can be comfortable in isn't exactly easy.

I've talked to a local vendor to me who sells on ebay, (streetimports.com) and he says that these are pretty wide:

So I'm going to go and "try on" a set. Anyone have any experience with them?

sliders would be the best choice i think. I still want some adjustability. Those seats look good Nick, and anyone should have no problems fitting in those

Isn't that the whole point of a racing seat, to hold you snug in your seat?

What size jeans you wear so we have an idea your size in comparison to the seats. I sat in one the other day and wasn't going to fit me. The guy who sat in it must wear a size 28 waist. It was not pretty. I wear a size 38 or 40 depending on the jeans and my *** wasn't going in that seat. Looked alot like your seat thats why I asked.

Anyone ever bought on of these seats?

i might, because i want to start doing some auto x, so i might get one and put it on only for those occasions. Do they make harness bars just for FCs? I would use my three point OEM belt on the street and for fun at events use the racing harness. Plus i dont want to buy a roll cage, cuz cops here dont like those either.

They look just like the ones that they sell at pep boys. If they are then i hope you dont plan on using them for autox or anything unless your pretty big. I where a size thirty two and they are huge. When i shut the door in my first gen they hit the doors.

I'm a big guy so i'm gonna just go with some ebay seats, my buddy just got a pair of fake mugen seats off ebay for 300 shipped, they look exactly like real mugens and the quality is way better than i expected. I figure i'll just get whatever cheap brand of seats on ebay that either has no logo or one that could be easily removed. Doon't get me wrong i like corbue and sparco and other nicer seats but i can't justifie spending almost a grand on seats, i'd much rather do performance with that cash.

yeah same here, i sat in bride seats, sparco seats, and recaro ones, and i found that this one was just as comfortable, but like half the price. Id rather spend more money on performance instead, but i couldnt pass this deal up.
