That hood is awesome. I think it looks ok, but its the performance that counts......

I'd be worried about having my BOV and other parts pulled through those massive vents. No more street parking for you!!

Taking the hood in today to get the center vent firberglassed in. Anyone know where to buy aluminum mesh to cover the hole in the center?

personally i like the hood. i noticed someone saying something bout being worried that some person could reach in and take some parts and what not. why would having a vent on the hood worry you bout someone stealing or messing with your car? they could just as easly bash a window and take a stereo from a car. just my thoughts on the subject. and oh yeah just to let you know again that hoods ******* nice.

the hood provides better cooling when you go to a big front mount intercooler. This is not for you NA boys, you wouldn't understand.

Hey is that the real deal Knightsport, or just the replica that Rotaryextreme was trying to get rid of?

I heard from nopiston forum that people hated that hood, I added that I like it, real thing, or replica, it looks nice to me, so does the chick btw.

Yes, the hood is very much a functional piece, it aids in cooling, but have to be used in conjunction with the front piece to be fully effective.

Nice piece, and good call on fiberglassing the bolt part, it'll look sick when it's done, pics please!

It's the original KS hood that Chuck used to make the mold from for his replicas. It's finished and is installed. I'll try and get some pics tonight. I blew off an oil line last night, I hope thats all it was, and I lost all the oil, I was running zero PSI when I noticed it and was already pulling in the driveway from a friends house 4 blocks away. The temp was fine and it ran fine. I'm hoping I didn't do any damage. Gonna check it out tonight also. I run MMO as premix so maybe it's ok.

I'd leave a couple screws in just for safe mind.

Umm ok!
So just cause I'm NA means I don't have to worry about heat? WTF was I thinking when my guage was slowly rising in the 115`F heat of Arizona!!! I'm NA!

BTW You would need that more when you get a front mount because you just added a huge restriction to the radiator.

With a TII you need to go Front mount or H-mount because you no longer have the scoop. I was thinking of doing s reverse cowl for w while just because the temps here are crazy in the summer and the underhood temps are insane.

115 plus no humidity(will help removal of heat) makes for a very very bad situation.

Anyways. I think it looks good. If i get my hands on a extra NA hood (hopefully AL not Steel)I am going to do something similar.

Well it really seems to work. You can see the heat venting out of the engine bay while your at a stoplight. I've got the front end mounted also the hood bolts out and will get a picture today and post it.

Jesus Christ. Some of you can be quite the jackasses.

I like the hood. Don't listen to these idiots who say that it is ugly. They'd call Juan Montoya a riceboy because his car looks like a jet fighter.

It is pure solid function, and its aerodynamic properties do not necessitate an FMIC to be appreciated in any way whatsoever.
