Thanks everyone for the replies!

First impressions:

I am running it on stock pressure as of now, and it DOES creep slightly (to 7 PSI). At 7 PSI, the thing pulls like my S5 turbo did at 12 PSI!! Spooling leaves a little to be desired, but then again, the tuning isnt quite there yet, and that may not be the fault of the turbo.

More to come!

Mmmm, first a Gt35 is too small for an Rx7 and second it won't fit a T4 manifold since the Gt35 is T3.. The 35R would be better suited for a rotary as everyone will attest but it still isn't T4.

Back on topic: I saw J turbo and it is very nice! I thought it looked a little small though

Can't wait till we can all hit the track and show then what an Rx7 can do

I've seen some really nice numbers from the gt35r (gt35/40), despite the t3 footprint. If I had the money to blow on a turbo set up right now, I'd be more likely to opt for it than a 60-1 or other equivalent turbo.

There is some confusion of nomenclature going on here.

I've seen some really nice numbers from the gt35r (gt35/40), despite the t3 footprint.
Yes from the GT35*R*... but that's because it has a Gt40 or similar compressor. The Gt35, as origionally mentioned, is too small for the Rx7 (the compressor that is).

there is a t4 version of the gt35r available now
Errr, I guess there is... though an undivided T4 isn't any better than the undivided T3....... it's still undivided, even though the bolt pattern may be a tad better.

Well, I wasn't saying it was any better or worse. It's simply available. At least it'll bolt to an HKS manifold now

I am with you, though. I'd prefer a divided housing with a higher a/r.

Hey J-Rat, Im interested in running a similar setup. I have the walbro 255lph pump and am In the market for some injectors as we speak. Are the 720 primaries and 890 secondaries enough fuel? Can you control them good enough with the SAFC? Basically those are your fuel mods right? Safc, Pump and injectors? Please PM me with your entire setup if possible. Thanks!

As of right now, the setup seems to be working, but it needs way more tuning.

If you want my mod list, I will PM it to ya.

And a RRFPR lowers your fuel pump output volume and is pointless with an engine management system, so why bother?
