got my first RX7, have a few ????

I just got a 87 na rx7 with a 89 TII Engine (13BT) swap. it has a front mount, 3'' down pipe and exhaust, apexi blow off. its running the stock boost.

I am not sure what fuel pump it has. if it has the NA pump I should replace it?? also would a walbro intank pump I used to run In my mustang work. It is a 180lph.

How much 2cyl oil should I mix per gallon?

I need a us turbo thortle cable, where is a good place to find one cheap?

what simple things can I do to get some more power, how much boost can I run, I think the car has #30 injectors in it. thanks

David

Your fuel pump should be fine for now, but if you want to run more boost then, and plane on any other performance upgrades you should upgrade, you dont want to be running rich, with high boost, so bigger fuel pump and injectors. Most people here run the walbro 255 or the supra fuel pump you can use the search button on the top right corner to help answer any questions you have on fuel pumps, also if you do the fuel upgrade you should look at a fuel mangment system ,theres a forum at the homepage about halfway down that dicusses all the differnt ECU's and fuel managment systems. So about your boost I would leave it at stock boost, But in the future with the upgrades I just discussed you could run 12-14psii of boost. The search tool will be your best friend here on the site most anything you can think of has been talked about. Welcome to the site and congrats on owning a rx7.

Your injectors are 450cc all the way around, just enough to get you by for now. If you looked around the car (by now I'm sure you have) you should have spotted a little bag with 3 white/tannish looking injectors, and one random red one. The three white ones are 550cc injectors that can be ran with the other harness that I left in the back. Bear in mind that to use those you must use the low impedence terminator I left in the front (the box I showed you on the fender well). I will try deligently to find the fourth 550cc injector for you, and give it to you when we meet up. This will give you even more fuel. And then you may have to put the TII computer back on. The only reason I took it off is that it needs to be checked for shorts and brittle wires. Hope that helps a little.

yes they do. Also you can order new ones at a fairly reasonable price in the size you want from RC Engineering in Ca.(be sure their high imp if you plan on using the same harness your using now) I did business with them before and was pleased with their service.

sidenote: got pulled over in the bmw today, lol.
