TII Limited Slip Dif. Is JDM same as US Spec?

I purchased a JDM rear end from an 87 TII from an importer. Unfortunatley, it had water in it and I am having to rebuild. The clutch plates that are in the LSD do not match the number and type that are in the FSM. Does anyone know if the JDM rear-end is different than the US Spec? If so, does anyone have a JDM FSM for a TII? I don't know what order they go in and the specs for minimum thickness?? I have looked everywhere for the information.

From what I gather, it is supposed to be the same.
