We're talking like all the bolts on the upper housing, all the air intake bolts, the ones that connect the dynamic chamber and the intake manifold...

Well, I certainly would not try to start the car Why are you missing those nuts and bolts anyway?

If you let me know which bolts you need I can ship them to you for a nominal fee.

I'm missing these parts due to a number of factors. My brother took apart the engine after a fire and didnt lable some of the pieces. I have a makeshift garage (its actually a barn, don't laugh ) and also due to the fact that about three of my friends were working in my garage at the same time... this makes for lots of lost s***.

Now. I have a diagram that shows all my missing parts. If only i could get the picture on here.... (I don't know how) :p <--- noob

Also, if I were to go to napa, could they figure out all the dimensions of the bolts and nuts or would i have to find that out?

If the diagram is small you can upload it when you post. If it is not, you need to have it hosted somewhere and then use the IMG tags to display it. You have to click the "Post Reply" button to get to where you can upload the picture. Using the quick reply at the bottom does no good.

Junkyard would be a good place.

There is one in Amana that has a couple.

I might have a few too.

I think one of these days i'll just buy a bulk of the different bolts needed in rx7's. There's only a few different types.

Amana? The Amish? How does that work really... they're not even allowed to drive cars for god's sake. The only honest mechanics are in Kalona I've found :p

Sesshoumaru, if you want to I'll pay you for your trouble, I need these parts so... you could actually screw me and make me pay a lot for them. I'm desperate here.

haha to be exact it's not exactly Amana - couple miles out. Called A-1 Imports

I'm pretty good friends with the guys b/c I do alot of "shopping" and I "support" the guys with cash only.

Although they did lock me in the junkyard once.........

What sizes you need?

I feel your pain on the barn. I did my first engine swap with a skidsteer loader (SR20det).......

I have quite a few parts too.......just look at my garage

(I'm actually gonna clean it after finals)

You did manual steering conversion? My brother did as well.

Sizes... sizes.... yeah I have no clue.

I could really use your help. I mean I'm at the point where theres parts on my shelf and I don't know what they do. Like there's this really heavy i think powder coated black thing that I've been staring at... staring at my engine.... and NOT GETTING ANYWHERE.

Grrr.... Well at least my garage is cleaned up, I have all the bolts i know of in labled ziplocks (except the larger engine componants and various random bolts/nuts)

I wonder if you could help me maybe? I just need to ge tthis thing running. Its so sad I don't even know where to mount the starter at... *cries*

you said it had a fire. How bad was it? You have the parts to fix it?

My FC had a Manual rack - that conversion was for my FD (my project)

but i have extra parts form other ppls engines that i have worked on.

I'm in Ames now going to college....ugh (grad in summer) and live in Monticello (east of Cedar Rapids).

I wouldn't mind to help but i'm usually pretty busy.

um.... don't come close to 3pm. They tend to not like that. They close around 4 or so i think.

I have to stop back in to pay for my FC manual rack. If you plan on going we should meet up in CR then. I'll prolly do that friday or durring the weekend.

just pm on aim or msn

I'm in Lone Tree, a little south of IA City by 20 mi. or so (I seriously am in the middle of nowhere in the middle of a forest in the middle of nowhere)

There was a fire. The Sloenoid reliefe valves and pulsation dampner and a few hoses got fried, so did the wiring diagram. I have all those parts since the actual car came with a non turbo 88 engine and i bought an 89 from up in MN.

Saturday or Sunday would be better because I'm having company on friday. I'll have to check with my parents and whatever plans they're having.

I actually used to live in gRimes before I moved here to Iowa City.

I understand how busy you are with finals and all. If we do meet lets plan it way ahead of time so you can fit it into your schedule, if you want.
