got a couple of questions??????

well today i was checking my car out and lately i have been noticing that when i turn on my a/c my idle drops too like 500 rpm. i thought the bac was supposed to keep my idle up cause at times when i brake my idle drops to 300 rpm. so i took the old bac off and notice a little hex nut that i could twist. well that seemed to work when i untightend it a little but i notice now that when i try to hold a 1500 idle with the pedal the car wont hold and then it just starts to bounce up to 2000 then back to 1500? any thoughts on why this would do that?

also before i had the fuse to my stereo unpluged so i pluged it back in and i notice that my stock volt meter only goes up to 14v and with a multi meter it is at only 14.13v. so is it possible that the stereo was installed wrong and it is just eating up way too much power? thanks.

Anything 14v & over is a good charging current. If your stereo being on drops it below 13.5, there might be a problem, might not...Depends on how fast the alt is spinning (at idle you'll see more of a voltage drop).

I don't know exactly what you did to your BAC, but why don't you put it back the way it was, and then check it per the FSM, along with the air bypass solenoid & relay.

well if you are looking at the bac from the front of the car you can see a hex nut and you can make it looser and make it tighter. so i just tightned it a little and it seemed to fix the whole a/c think. i don't think that i messed with any type of relay in the process though.
