Got another Dumb question. About the Climate control

Well about 8 months ago I stripped my car. I took the climate control out..I need to know where the long cable with the connector that comes out of the back of the climate control plugs into..I can't seem to find a diagram in my manual and I can't seem to find one on the search mode..I want to say it goes behind the dummy controls somewhere, but I am not for sure..I remember when it was plugged up i could hear an electric motor change what sounded like a flap of somekind inside my dash..The reason I want to hook it back up is because of the humid climate hear in Mississippi and I need my defrost to work..Any diagram one of you guys might have would be very helpful..Thanks again and once again you guys are the best..David

The 18" long wire harnass that comes out of the logicon connects near the base of the windshield, near the middle of the car. From what I can remember, if you take the plastic grill at the bottom of the windshield off, you can get to the plug easier. Careful though, the plastic vent grille is about as fragile as plastic comes - chances are it will pritty much shatter in your hands. Knowing that it plugs in around there, you might be able to reach the plug from the dash.
Good luck

that plug plugs in just to the right of the gauge cluster. i have not been able to find out a way to unplug it so im curious how you did. if you pull the gauges right behine where the dash ends inside of the hol (behind the cluster) is where it plugs in. the other end of the plug is atuclly clipped into the metal bracket behind that dash

I just reached in and unplugged it I guess. It had to be fairly simple, cause the simple things are the things I always forget..So you are saying that on the right side of the gauge cluster, like where the Winshield wiper switch is located, is where it goes..I will check that out tommorow as well and see if I can find it..I think I say that plug the other day when I was changing out my wiper switch..Thanks for the info I will check that out..
