Got a 3 inch down pipe installed today

So I had a shop where a friend works do a 3 inch pipe from the turbo to where it y's. My problem now is I think I need bigger injectors from what I have read. When I really get on the throttle and I'm going through the gears I will get this total loss of power for an instance and I back up off it and it is fine. Also maybe I was thinking that I need to make it so the injectors aren't cutting out as soon anymore. Thanks guys.

You're gonna need ATLEAST a Fuel Cut Defense, because your boost is gonna go up, do to less restriction in the exhaust

you need a FCD as stated above. and a boost controler. you can go over 12 psi depending on if its a S4 or S5. but i wouldnt go over 10 if i were you. that power cutting out is your engine about to fail. do it enough and somethings gonna give

Racing beat has them for $117. Can I find them some where cheaper, or is it worth it.

Why would it be failing at 5500 rpm? Is that right?

Since you replaced the cats which cause backpressure your turbo can now produce more boost. But the ECU wants to shut off fuel at 8.5lbs of boost(s4 model). Put on a PRO ceramic manual boost controller +FCD.

DO NOT HOT ROD YOUR CAR UNTIL YOU DO THESE THINGS FIRST!!!!!!

Searched that boost controller. The brand that came up was Hallman. Does that sound like the one.

Yeah, that's your fuel cut kicking in. Get a FCD to get rid of that.
