The end links or whatever you would call those things that connect the bar to the bolted down part......they dont look very thick and sturdy to me. I would spend a little more cash, and get a good solid bar. Just my opinion. There may be no difference in them at all for all I know.

look for the triangular, Front Strut bars that attach to teh Fire wall and Strut towers, and also atrtach the engine.

And the rear strut that attach to the chassis as well as the strut towers.

I have that same strut tower bar. I have ahd it for about 6 months, and personally, I like it. Nice and sturdy, and unlike most other cheap bars, it dosen't rub on the top of the alternator. A good buy, IMO.

I don't know...I think you could do better. Yeah, $30 is cool, but the stamped steel end plates aren't as good as formed and welded plates. Look for Cusco, Grex and there are others that are nicer.

i got a $40 autobacs strut tower bar from ebay. It looks the exact same as that but w/ black mounts. I forgot what its like to have no strut tower..but when i put it on, i remember feeling a definate improvement.

Any of you ever feel as though if you go drive a normal car...you might push it a little too hard being used to throwing around a little car w/ tight suspension...?

Yeah, I did that with a Acura Legend in San Fran. I was so used to driving my car that I forgot I was in a bigger ride. Almost wrecked, then I simmered down.

What about Racing Beat upper strut bar?

I have only bought a few things from them (shifter bushings, exhaust hangers, etc) and have always had great service. That is weird that happened to you.

I recently installed one of those strut bars on my '91 vert and it made a noticable difference. I can't complain for $30. I did however have to break out the Dremel tool and do a little bit of grinding to get it to fit over the strut tower.

Oh yeah. My daily driver is a 97 Acura 3.2 TL and I have found myself on the borderline of getting in trouble while whipping it around like my vert.

Once I ordered a few things and one of my items was not there, but they sent it to me after I told them. Another time I ordered window seals that came bent thanks to UPS. Currently, I have been waiting two months for a rotor decal that should have only taken three weeks, but hey it's a decal so no big deal.

I was looking at getting a strut bar for my car and was wondering if the AAS would in any way affect me putting one in. If anybody knows please share your knowledge.
Thanks,
Amanda
