Red face good radiator under $300

my radiator is not doing the job right and is in need of replacement i really want to by the fluidyne radiator but don't have the money for it if anyone knows of a good radiator might not be name brand but can server the purpose well for under 300 it would be great. my car is mildly modified so it doesn't need to be ice cold. and is only a practice car until i get good enough to have a faster rx7. but i'm still sticking with my fc anyways.

wow you have not searched at all.
A koyo can be brought new for around 315 to 360 shipped.

Why is it not doing the job? The stock RAD is good for 300HP or so. You may want to check at other stuff for why it is not cooling properly. "Ice cold is not necessary" This is making me wonder. Do you understand how a cooling system works? a RAD will not necessarily make your car run colder, just increase cooling capacity.

Well, if you're good with a sawzall, the setups that the V8 guys run will have PLENTY of capacity, and you could get a radiator and an electric fan for well under 300 dollars. You do have to modify the radiator mounts with a sawzall to fit it though.

Just an idea for you.
