good question here??
i have owned 2 fc's one i sold the other got lost and ran into a tree with me in it, bye bye car and almost me. anyway i'm in the market for a new car at the moment and of course i need another fc. at the same time i want something fast and affordable.
my real question is this.... could a fc TII beat a 90-93 talon tsi AWD, this assuming they have the same amount of mods
i ask this because as much as i want another fc, it is so much easier for me to find cheaper low miled TSI's and its hard for me to find a good cheap low miled fc.
peace, nick

Define "beat"...
AWD gives the Talon the edge in the launching department.
The piston motor will have more torque down low.
The RX-7 will pull harder to redline.
AWD makes the Talon a lot more stable platform, especially in inclement weather.
The RX-7 has the better suspension and brakes.
Building an 11-second AWD Talon drag car is relatively cheap.
Building a high 12-second FC turbo is relatively cheap.

Talon's are probably the cheapest car to speed up. The same amount of money into both, and the Talon will kill the FC. I hate it, but it's the truth. I'd still never buy a talon because they're ugly and crappy IMO.
i think it was a 93? but i know it was turbo, both stock to stock TSI vs T2, i rapped him really bad, freeway battle, 4WD only good for launches because their fat bastards they won't pull as hard, i wouldn't mind getting TSi/GSX though, to me their very nice, not very nimble through the turns, even though i'm a hardcore drag racing person, i perfer some handling because i'm a street car.
But the **** is that T2 turbo has hybrids also, which is capable for about 320hp? theres alot of direct fit (stock manifold) for DSMs for 400+ hp, i would get me a 1g DSM but im soo into the rotary **** you wouldn't believe, and a little to brainwashed to learn something new.
