Is this a good plan?

My rear brakes are pretty much gone and I was told they need to be replaced soon (like a month). I was planning on upgrading my brakes at some point in the future anyway.... but i dont have the money for a full set (front and rear). But I need my rear brakes changed.

Is it ok to upgrade my rear brakes while still running oem front until I have enough for the fronts? Or should I buy oem rears and wait to get all 4 at once??

I was looking into getting power slot with project mu pads

I would just replace the pads in the rear with something generic, put the Powerslot rotors on the front with some Hawk HPS pads.
You can do the rear rotors later.
