good deal or no??
I just bought a 87 n/a
The good:
~has a new reman mazda motor sitting in the back in the crate
~Came with a brand new MOMO steering wheel
~Has a K&N filer charger system on it
~has GXL wheels
~Had 2 old school 500 watt rms rockford fosgate amps from 1997 in mint working shape
~eibach lowering springs
The bad:
needs a clutch
needs a power brake booster
needs new brake pads
doesnt need paint but its being painted now(body is flawless no rust or dents)
how much should i have paid for this car???

I think the key was: sitting in the back in a crate.
a non running FC is seldom worth more than $900, the fact that you have to assemble it yourself doesn't help no matter how new (or old) the parts are.
Toss in some of the other stuff like wheels (the car was supposed to come with wheels) and the useless amps (only valuable to the person that put them in)... and see its just not worth that much.
I might have gone up to $1500 if the body and interior were in excellent shape.

Well.....I'd have paid more than you guys are talking about just for the Mazda Reman. motor (assuming it's new). So...I'd say 2000.00 would be a good price IF you can do the engine install yourself.
