Is this a good deal?
Yeah that sounds like a pretty good deal. At 70K miles you'r about 1/2 way through the normal engine life, so you've got about 70K more to go.
I think 120 was average compression, but I could be wrong.

Yes, the blue book is about $4,500. Everything works, including the sun roof, power antenna, AC, clock, etc? No rust on the sun roof? That's pretty rare.

The compression check depends on your altitude and cranking speed. It is probably best to have a reputable rotary mechanic check out the car. The compression check process is in the "Engine" chapter of the factory service manual.

Thats an excellent deal. I saw that one on Autotrader.
But I dont like white at all (no flames please) and, well, I have a T2. It's in Wisconsin, which is really close to you. Is it yours? Its less than 500 miles from me, so not bad.
