:)

Sounds like your in or near Edmoton..

I'm also dealing with that same guy.. He has an 87 NA for sale for $4500. I got him down to $4000 so you might be able also with the turbo.
He did say there was some rust on it though..
Hope this helps you out a little.

Sorry i couldn't help you out more but im kinda new to the whole rotary thing myself

Did you take any look at it? I want to turn this car into a project car. For track or just fun crusing around. Maybe some autocross.

Please give me information and why you think if it good or bad. "Yea it's cool" does not really help me.

IS that $4,500 CDN or US? Its an "ok" price..but if you shopped around you may be able to do better. Has teh J-spec engine been rebuilt? Have you seen the "custom exhaust" - (sometimes these can be really ghetto..) Have you looked at it, or is the description there all you have? Hows the interior look? Engine bay look clean and well-kept? Any service and maintenance info?

Hey i know the guy that is selling the 87 GXL and the 87 turbo. I saw him take the jspec motor out of the clip and all. I was actually gonna buy that exact turbo car but bills came up and i couldn't buy it. From as far as i could tell when the motor was outta the jspec clip it was in really good condition. I would buy that car for $4500 cdn forsure and the 87 GXL too. Both great cars. also the 87 turbo has the 89-91 LSD which is better then the 87-88 LSD. Has performance shocks can't remember what kind they are and i think it has a 3" downpipe... Just call the guy and ask him about the cars.

I did he sold the car only has the gxl left. The only trouble is the gxl not good for modding so it would not make a good project car. Too bad.

What do you mean that a GXL is not good for "modding?" ... Did I hear you right?

That's unfortunate about the 87turbo..

plug the frist and rear plugs, and check the engine, see if the apex seals are bad. if not then the body and such. and the GXL is just as sweet of a car. hehe you do get power door locks
