Is this a good deal?
I was at the newly found boneyard last week and there was a shortblock 13B lying there in the core pile. I asked the manger about it and he said it was a Turbo motor that they had rebuilt and sold to someone but It wouldn't start for them, so he exchanged for another motor. When I asked, he said I could have it for $200. Well I went back and looked at the thing and noticed it was full of water, so much for not needing another rebuild eh? I was thinking of the next time I go back offering him $100 for it but is it even worth that?????
Thanks,
-Jayson

depending on how the rotor housings look.. 100 bucks could be good just to salvage the irons and and housings. just depends on the rust situation. You could always take it apart and try to sell it

Well on top of anything that may be wrong with it, its also full of water.
So $100 is a decent offer for a mystery turbo motor???
Further, is there anything that would identify what series the motor came from of even to verify that it is in fact a turbo motor?
Thanks
