Good day at the Junkyard
For 180 bucks got the following:
S5 Tail lights for my TII
S5 secondary rail for the vert
2 injectors for the vert
s5 fuel pump for the vert
TPS for the vert
and a few odd trim pieces for the vert.
Not too bad for a few hours and 180 bucks! I love the junkyard! they had lots of FCs out there, verts and NA...no TIIs

Damn... Thats pretty expensive...
Let me elaborate. My local junkyard, called A-1 Salvage, is a pull-your-own type of affair, and thei prices are so damn cheap... Trannies are $50 + $10 core, engines are $100 plus core of $25. Many of them run just fine as well. A radiator + fan + big rallye style mirror for my Omni was 30 bucks. Fuel rails are 5 bucks, almost any sensor you want is under 5 bucks. They have a large variety of parts for all types of cars as well. A few FC's, including the one that i got my tranny.

Some of us find that wrong...
Not saying I do
I get away with tons of little trim pieces and sensors and what not every time I go. I usually only pay for one part. But at the Jyards here, they only check your toolbox for parts, noth your pockets. I think it may be illegal to check your pockets anyway...

Do you guys think that you are so opposed to the idea of them checking your pockets because you feel its an invasion of your privacy...or because they'll catch you stealing?

I never seen an FD or TII in a junkyard ever. I would be lucky to find an S5...
and about the 5 finger discounts, NOW is a good time for me to pay a visit. It is finally cold, so I can wear much more clothes (more hiding spots) than just a shirt and shorts like normal
