Good compression on 88 T2?

i might be buying an 88T2 AE. it was at the shop yesterday getting checked out and compression tested. it came back with 6.2kg at WOT. i've been told by Dave at KDR that anything above 6 is good. but i'm a little hesitant cuz i was expecting closer to 7. the car is on it's 2nd motor and i would esitmate that it has about 60-80k on the 2nd motor. i just dont wanna get it and have to rebuild/replace the engine right away
opinions please...

forget it...i talked to the mechanic again and he told me those compression numbers were at 3000rpm cold. he didnt test @ WOT. Dave from KDR warned me about this. so from what he told me the compression numbers would be about 1kg higher @ WOT and a warm engine. it should be fine.

hehe...i answered my own question.

3000RPM???&nbsp How the hell you do a compression test at that high an RPM???

Standard is at cranking speed which is more like 250RPM.

100psi is "good".
Under 70psi is "bad".
Divide by 14.2 for kg/mm2 conversion...
