Got my alt and battery tested today cuz of a light flickerin problem and everything checked out good and the alt is charging(13-13.7 ) but the meter said the battery was good but had Low charge??? well i did have my red top optima battery for 2 years and it's my second one. Could it be i have a bad cell in the optima( i have jumped my car and many others with it) OR is power draining some where and where should i look? Im just confulded cuz its my daily driver so the battery has to be getting charged unless its time for a new battery and im broke b/c of my FC..

 

Tested with a meter and with the battery disconnected, if you have a low cell the battery voltage will be down 2.1 volts for every bad cell.

 

All of your questions can be answered with a DMM.
Go get one and learn how to use it.
