Do ya'll think Gold rims would look good on a 10th aniv white FC? The rims are Konig Feather 17", 7 1/2" wide. A friend is selling them cheap and I cant pass up a good deal. Thanks

I'm thinking that a 6 spoke would probably look the best.

Gold wheels would look sharp on black and white 7s

My friend is coming by this weekend to test fit the rims. They are 10 spoke. I hope they look good. If I get them I will get my stock rims repainted and new skins for them. I will get a pic and post it so you all can help me decide.

I dont think you should buy them... What car were they on before? Was it by any chanceFWD like a Civic or a mini cooper? That offset sounds very "front wheel drive only" to me. But then didnt the MR2 have +42 offset?

stock offset is 40MM. 45MM offset for 7.5 wide rims will not fit without adapters. Unless you are running on coils then you might have a bit more inner clearance.

Here is a chart:

We test fitted the rims today and the +40 offset is too close to the strut. I will not be buying them. Here is a pic to show how it looked.

WOW, thank God you didn't buy those wheels. How ugly and the offset is for FWD cars. I agree with the guy who said keep the stock 10ae wheels. That is unless you actually spend some serious cash on nice wheels.
