Going T04.....NEED HELP!
O.K. let me start off by saying I think I might be getting in over my head.

List of things I have bought:

1. Greddy FMIC...for stock turbo...(first mistake I think)
2. HkS T04 manifold
3. Blitz blowoff valve.

Things I need:

1. HKS wastegate...40mm
2. Turbo..60-1 or 62-1..or maybe a T-66 ball bearing...
3. Turbo feed/return oil lines.
4. custom down-pipe...this is my biggest issue.

My problem is I wanted to buy everything first and then just install all parts at one time and be done..
But now I see it doesn't work that way.

I went to get the blowoff valve welded in today and was sad to hear that I really needed to make sure of the position on the pipe was right. I can't have the right position yet because I don't know if I have to cut the pipe to fit, since the FMIC kit was for a stock turbo and the HKS manifold moves the T04 turbo up and outwards. So "bummer 1".

Ok, next. SO this means I have to install the turbo, manifold, oil lines etc...Doing that requires a custom made downwnpipe.. "bummer 2" I need someone that has one made up for the spec I have and have it copied and just take it to the muffler shop and have them make it. "But if this were a perfect world..................."

I have the fuel and EMS squared away. Just need a plan that I can stick to. I don't like my car to sit for any amount of time, so that might be another one of my down falls..

By the way I will be selling my Racing Beat 3" downpipe and T04 hybrid turbo. I made 300 rear wheel HP with this turbo. Probably could have made more, but I now have a motor with low compression.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I know I didn't ask questions but just trying to see if anyone can relate and tell me what steps to follow.

Hey let me know what you'd want for that T04 and give all the stats on it if possible.
BTW you will have to redo the DP. My buddy just put an a new S5 turbo with an external wastegate and he had to redo the DP.
