Talking Going to stay with N/A (ooohh a rhym)

Alrighty, i see how so many people are saying if you want HP start with a T2 because its easyer, but..

i like to be different and because i already own a 87 n/a i want to see what i can do
after im finished replaceing everythign that breaks

---
(so far, in the month ive had it.. i have replaced the radiator, cus it decided that it wanted to leak like a bastard, 2 tires cus of g'damn weather rot, Easterday, and theres a long story to this ill tell ya if ya want to know it, the regulator in my alternator went, luckly i got a remanufactured 70amp alt for 124.40 with a lifetime wanty, put it in yeasterday, the thermostat went on strike and while replacing it, the cheap alloy bolts some dumbass put in cheared off, so 90$'s of drilling filing tapping later thats finished and my trany is loud like barrings are going, not sure if its throwout baring or input shaft baring)

sorry, that got longer than i expected

---

i want to remove all non-ecentials like ac, powersterring (which doesnt seem to be very "powerfull") anything thats heavy that doesnt look important and all the extra parts, you know what im talking about

after all the neccesary replacements i want to give it some power, i dont want to raceport my moter or anythign, looking for atleast 180rwhp (i know its not alot, im not picky)

#'s say that i have 140 or so (87 is 140 right?) so 40hp
isnt asking to much?

Good intake, egsuast, a piggyback computer or a whole new one, better injectors and fuel system (also the removel of the power steering) in the end i want to have a car that can be fun to drive, but wont cost me a semester's tuition at college,

am i asking to much from this poor FC ?

No not really. As long as 14's in the quarter is fast enough for you you will be fine.

Hell no!!!!! My goal is a 230hp (at the flywheel) n/a, and then add a 100 shot of ol n20. Then, I will build a turbo car. The best additions for speed on an n/a are: exhuast, weight reduction, and porting. Porting is like adding a cam to a piston engine. A 180 hp series 4 would not be too much to ask. I need to get my 91 on a dyno, so I can get some baseline figures to work with!! Have fun, and welcome to the forum!!!

I like to go to drags and hear about drag times, but i dont like to drag

I like racing people though town, not in a staight line, its like, first one to the parkinglot of this building at other end of town wins, so its lots ot turns, drifting and good shifting

I race all over my town, and all I have is intake and exhaust....for now! I have only lost 1 race, but it was to a 'Cuda, so I really don't feel bad! And, besides, he revved on me!!! With 180 hp, you can beat any ricer you want, trust me.

Through town? That is a new one....don't know if I would recommend that ****, but hey whatever floats you boat floats your boat. Drifting through town leaves your car wrapped around a pole.
