going racing..........
HELLO
you've seen pics of the car i've been building. and now it's time to go racing. if all goes well in fridays test run i'll race on sat the 21st.
the car engine is stock. i removed the ac stuff.
i finnished the rollcage last weekend and all safty stuff is in place.
i just hope to drive and see what the car can do. i hope that there will be some other cars of similar speed as mine so i can at least feel as though i'm in a race. would not be fun if all cars just left me behind , lol, which might happen anyways.
the car is not pretty and it's mainly due to time shortage. just getting the car stripped and prepared was a long hard road. but fun......... in a couple of weeks i'll do the body work and paint it. i wish i could have done that before my first race but if i did the paint work i would'nt be able to run it untill december.
i got a video camera to mount in the car so i hope to have some footage. i don't know how to make it into a format for a pc but maybe i'll learn if the video comes out ok.
i hope for no rain this weekend as it's possiable because of some storms in the gulf. but i'm so excited i can't wait.
the track is no problem raceway in southern louisiana, about an hour from new orleans. you can go to NOPROBLEMRACEWAY.COM
to see the track layout. 1.8 miles, 14 turns. very flat, just like louisiana.
