I don't do anything to my FC's when I let them sit. Only if it were going to sit for 6 months or longer would I worry about it.

yeah well last time i went for two weeks i came back jetlagged to hell and back and spent two hours to get my car running before i could get home. Nothing like flying ten time zones just to come home and to spend 2 hours pulling fuses.

I agree with disconnecting the battery. However, if you fear flooding consider depressurizing the fuel system. Easy to do and would save you from the worry anyway?

yes, depressurizing the fuel sytem is a must. go through the steps in the haynes manual.

baisicaly, you get it parked, et it idle, then pull the harness of the fuel pump and just let it sputter out. this keeps it from flooding. plug the pump back in, prime the sytem and viola, starts right up.
