Is this going to be good
Can somebody tell me what to expect as far as how loud this bonez strait pipe is going to be on my 87 na. Getting it put on this week and i'm hoping for a deeper sound rather than that loud popcanish sound. It does have the rather large silencer built in soo lets hope.

It's mostly gonna depend on what kind of muffler(s) you have. IF you don't have any mufflers you aint gonna like it even if it runs as it needs backpressure.
I have similar pipe on one of my 88 S/4's with two stainless glass packs and it really sounds pretty good. A little raspy at some rpms and gets quieter at 90 MPH (has auto tranny).

Harley partially had the right idea; it definitely depends on your mufflers. However, using glass-packs, as he did, is notoriously a bad idea with a rotary. They are likely to get burned up quickly.
I have a test (straight) pipe and a resonator, leading into a Borla catback, and mine sounds beautiful, if a little loud on the long (2+ hour) drives. With the silencer built in, I'd expect that you'll have a relatively mellow sound during daily driving. More importantly, though, keep in mind that you need to do what it takes with backpressure to keep your secondary ports opening.
