going to be fabricating parts for my FC, possible interest?
Of course you are going to do a fiberglass reinforced composite....I didn't have any confusion about that. I am just talking about the resin that you use in combination with the fiberglass.
What weight cloth are you going to use?

I dont remember off top of my head, and im not at home to look, but when i do get home in about an hour, ill make sure to check.
but its a bondo cloth as well, so i wouldnt think it would have too many problems. Like i said, dont know the weight off top of my head. im going to guess though, that thicker or heavier weight + more layers= thicker/stronger.

Well im just making sure that i didnt go through 4 hours of cutting and taping cardboard to have to do it again to make another, that would make for a rather time consuming process. But the hell with it, ill bust one out and see what it looks like when its cured. Ive put pictures of the mold that i first had, and the revision, because the first was ***.
Im not trying to just bullshit my way through here, I hope you dont think thats what im like. If i can get some work done, between sleeping and school, I might have the bottom part done by the weekend. (note, any posts after about 3 is when im at school, and i have no means to work on it then)

Havent had much time with school recently, but Im trying to get the first piece done tomorrow. Tested a few strips of duct tape with wax, pam, and plain. The plain piece didnt create as many air pockets as the wax one, but was harder to release. The wax released best, had some air bubbles, (could have been caused by the worklights i used to dry it faster...so thats on me) But shouldnt turn out too horribly, if i get 3 or 4 sheets down on it. I havent stopped trying to do this, is really what im saying.
Just havent had time.
