Godspeed radiator hoses
Just bought myself a Godspeed rad
Will the stock hoses work or must I buy the Godspeed ones for fitment? I just purchased new hoses like 6 months ago, and would hate to buy specialty ones all over again....
Thanks!

I have a godspeed rad in my FC and used the stock hoses I had to fabricated custome brackets to fit the rad dough... :-/
And the stock fan shroud didn't fit so I either have to find one that fits or go E-fan

Installation fail.....
Stupid me went to install this thing yesterday and didn't remember that the mounts wont line up right seeing as I have a s4..... after researching on here a bit I have seen pics of s4 rad mounts and they look different from mine.
On the pics I have seen, the s4 mounts have a bend at the bottom of them. Mine do not. The holes that bracket the radiator to the mount do not line up with the holes on the Godspeed, however. Before I go and try to find and buy s5 mounts I need to see if the ones I have are already s5, lol.
With s5 mounts, the Godspeed should bolt right up to the mounts, correct?
The mounts on there now fit perfectly fine to the rails, no holes have been drilled into the chassis.
Am I to understand that s5 radiator mounts will not fit onto a s4 chassis without drilling? Or is it the holes from the mounts to the radiator that are in a different position?
I am probably being a giant *****, but I simply don't want to have to drill anything if I don't have to.
Thanks for the time.

i dont know anything about a godspeed radiator but when i went to put a s4 koyo into my s5 vert, i had to drill the brackets out to make it fit. the brackets are different between series.
i unfortunately dont remember...its been a year at least since i messed with it. i do remember that i didnt drill or grind the frame at all. the only thing modified were the brackets

I have a godspeed rad and a s4 same thing happend to me it was for and S5 so I just went to homedepot and made my own brackets out of some metal and used some rubber spacings about as washers, bought some long bolts and it took me a while to get it to fit perfect. The only thing I haven't done yet is finding a shroud for the stock fan the godspeed rad is thicker than stock and it rubs the shroud on the fan blades but then again it works fine without the shroud, I have a efan I just don't know how to wire it up properly
this is what i had to trim. honestly i think you can get out of it by using a heat gun and warping the plastic outwards, if not be prepared to hear a loud fan noise. i hear it alot more than before.
heres a pic of what i had to trim on my shroud

Yep, the s4 rad mounts are bent on top and bottom.
I installed my koyo rad in my s5 two days ago anf found out i had an s4 rad in tue car.
So I had to re drill holes and mount it with only two bolts on top. But everything is legitimately.
And ^ it looks nice.
