God Damn Cars!!!!! (help!)

ok, so i got my car running again a couple of weeks ago, and then today all of a sudden it just shuts off! the radio still works but my SAFC and fuel pump are off. i jump the fuel pump (walbro) and it still works and then i go to the engine bay and the first (closest to teh engine, right on the end) 30 amp fuse is blown. so i look over everything and replace it. it emediatly blows again! so i disconect the safc adn teh fuel pump (i used this splice for the controling side of the relay, not to run the pump) and replace teh fuse again, and it blows again! so, i get a ride home (cars at work ) and i am now searching diligently through the FSM (i have the online one) and i cant seem to find anything to help me out!! i have one diagram that shows me the fuse block but dosnt tell me where to go to see the circut. if anyone could help me out i will be much appreciated!!

Thanx in advacne!!

also, the fuel pump wouldnt turn on after i got it back together hence the wiring to the ECU. i used the same wire as teh SAFC for ignition signal its black with a white strip iirc.

also i have an Rtek Chip if that makes any difference.....

Sounds to me like youve gotta short somewhere. Check all your hot wires and make sure ones not stripped or loose and hitting the chassis or something.

actually it sounds like a solenoid on the rats nest is shorted internally, disconnect them all and retry it, if the fuse doesn't pop then connect them one at a time until it does and then you have found your faulty solenoid.

rats nest is gone, so i know it s not that

but i narrowed in on the short. i un screwed the main relay from the body and pulled it up to look at the connectors and that "fixed" it lol. i have to look into it more to find if its the relay or the wiring around there, but im almost done with the nonsence! lol

I use a tone gen and probe to find wires. Its a great tool to have...they run about 100 bux but are worth it when trying to find where a wire is going.

In the FSM wiring manual, page 50-12. Ain't much, I know, but that's about as good as it gets...Gives you enough info to track the wire colors with switch positions though...
