Go Faster

A friend of mine knows a guy that will port my motor for $1800, any port I want. what port should i do? my goal is 300-350hp without going turbo. any ideas?

300-350HP out of a N/A just isnt going to happen, sorry. For the most power a bridgeport would be good, but its not all that steetable, and has a very narrow powerband. You'll lose all low-end power. My suggestion is to have a large streetport done, then wait until spring when Scathcart (a forum member here) is done with his nitrous kits, and buy a kit from him. Youll be able to run up to 150HP , and it will come readt to install with all necessary accessories. All for about $700

If he'll do "ANY port" get a PP. That could see those 300HP numbers.

for $1800 it better be a full rebuild replacing the seals and stuff... usually its only a few hundred for porting, the catch being it can only be done during a rebuild.
