Question GM fuel injection cleaning???

I work at a GM garage we have a machine that hookes directly to the fuel rail for cleaning clogged injectors and missfires due to clogged injectors. We use 1/3 liquid top engine cleaner and 2/3 gasoline, and the machine usually runs for about a half an hour. You disable the cars fuel pump and run the car on this pressurized machine that you can dial in the fuel psi.
I've used this machine on the most subborn injectors that with misfire data on a scan tool you can watch this machine completely eliminate a misfire due to injector being clogged. What i was wondering would this be just as effective on a rotary???

i hate putting unkown adverse affect chemicals through a rotary engine, i also work for GM.

i would much rather just pull the manifold and have the injectors cleaned professionally.

if you are lazy, cleaning them with a service tool may help but not as much as having them cleaned, balanced and flow checked.
