is this a turbo 2? very common for exhaust manifolds to glow hot red. it's one of the hottest parts, if not the hottest part of a motor.

if you ever watch a video of a motor being tuned on an engine dyno, you'll probably see the manifold glow hot red.

It depends how bright it was glowing and if you had just been running it hard. I take it this is a tubular manifold? If so that's probably expected even more so, rotary exhaust is pretty damn hot. If it suddenly gets deafeningly loud you'll know something went terribly wrong

check your timing as well as leading coils/plugs to make sure they are firing. if you are running the engine on severely retarded ignition timing, such as trailing only or CAS stabbed incorrectly then the exhaust will get VERY hot and you will notice a lack of power.

it's non-turbo
the glowing wasn't very bright, but it was enough to get my attention
