Glossary Help
Okay y'all,
i've been reading this forum for a few months now, but there's some lingo i just don't understand.
What's do the following stand for?
na
fc
fd
is there an fa and an fb (seems logical?
Which of the motors go with which cars? how many different ones are there? i have a 13b i think, which means no turbo, do these correspond to generations? Your help is appreciated in building my girly gearhead vocab.
Are there other abbreviations it would be helpful for other newbies to know?
Cheers,
Rain

NA= naturally aspirated...no forced induction
FC = 2nd gen, according to VIN
FD = 3rd gen
FB, SA = First gen (different for different years...and always an argument)
13b = in everything 86+, in some form
12a = in 79-85 except GSL-SE
13bt = 13b turbo
13b-rew = twin turbo, '93+
