Glass top!

does anyone or can anyone fabricate a glass targa section for the convertible Rx-7? or any material that is clear and nice. can be in the form of a "T-top" like the 300z with the piece in the middle holding 2 sections, one on left and one on right. or just one piece clear.

it would take more time and money to fabricate t-tops for a vert compared to making them for a coupe
dont u think ?

the T-top on the 300z it just like the RX-7 convertible in targa mode. so it shouldnt matter if there is metal on top of the coupe doors...we are speaking of convertible RX-7 wanting to have a glass like targa section, wether it be split in the middle or one piece erally doesnt matter either. i am sure it wouldnt be cheap, but if someone can do it...point me in the right direction.

i actually just thouth about this the other day...the cheapest, all around safest solution i came up with was to take the targa piece to a place that cuts and shapes glass. and just cut out the section between the rain guides( you know what im talking about??) then replace that section with glass...weather strip it all back together...and wala a class targa section on a vert
