GiroDisc 2 Piece Rotor Development (Gauging Interest)

Creating this post to gauge the interest on two piece rotors for the FC RX7. Currently I can't find any two piece designed rotors for the stock 4 pot calipers without using an adapter bracket and needing to run 17" rims.
This would be a direct replacement for your stock rotors but in a two piece design made by GiroDisc. They make very high quality brake components for many different chassis. Check them out! https://girodisc.com/
Why would you want this:
  1. Any track enthusiasts wanting to remove unsprung weight
  2. Higher cooling capacity
  3. Better heat extraction leads to longer hub life
  4. Floating rotors (better able to conform to the brake pad giving maximum contact)
  5. Maintain factory brake bias
  6. Style points
Price range would be between $800 - $1000 depending on their development for a pair of rotors. Replacement rings would be in the $500 price range.
*They would only develop if the interest is there.
*FD Owners: They would also develop for the stock calipers as well if the interest is there. (As you know there are options out there already)
In order to get the project off the ground they would need at least 10 buyers for each product.

Let me know in the comments if you guys are interested. It would be awesome to get more product development on the often ignored FC.
I'm currently building an FC (included a couple shots) and would love to add these rotors to the mix. I know Sakebomb garage has spoken about getting ohlins off the ground for the chassis too if the interest is there.
Lets give this car the high quality parts it deserves!

*Also, if there is a way to get this into the product development threads, let me know. I don't currently have access to post there.

Put me down for at least one set. Own three FC's. Trying to get all of them in the running column.

This is one of those things, I would love to be able to get, but I am on disabled veterans pay, so I can not afford it

Unfortunately it doesn’t seem like there is enought interest… it would’ve been about 800-1000 for just the front pair. Maybe we can revisit this in the future. Thanks for all those who were interested

I am interested as well. You should try on the Facebook groups there's probably a lot more RX7 activity there. If you can get something started I can commit money.
