Ok, so starting a month or so ago started having wierd anomolies with the alarm. Now Im having strange issues with the seat belt light and warning indicator. Add to that a new oddity with the alarm. I have a feeling Ive got a grounding issue somewhere.

So, here's a list of my wierdness:

Most of the time (not always) after the key is turned off, and I open the door, the alarm arms itself before locking the door.

Most of the time after unlocking the door with the key, the alarm light is blinking and if I dont get my key in the ignition and start the car within 30 secs the alarm goes off.

Sometimes, after shutting down the car, opening the door, NOT locking it (and if the alarm hasnt automatically armed already), and closing the door...some time later the alarm will have armed itself and opening the door will result in the alarm going off. (I've since just gotten used to using the key even if the door isnt locked to open the door).

Occasionally, the alarm will just go off. Happened two or three times I guess in the last couple of months.

The new thing now...after either opening the locked door with the key, OR shutting the car off (and the alarm arming itself) the alarm inside will beep every 3 seconds or so. The beeping stops once the door is locked and closed, or the ignition is started.

It used to be I could just hop in, the auto seat belt would slide into place, and I could go. Then, the seat belt alert started flashing AND beep at me until I buckled the lap belt. NOW, even after buckling the lap belt, the beeping stops but the light continues to flash.



What the heck is going on? lol Should I call a priest?
