There may be a lot for the s5, but I personally find almost all of them ugly or not good enough to make me want to spend the money. I'm still waiting on someone to make a better one. I put s5 bumpers on my s4 but mine didnt come with the stock lip/plastic piece thats supposed to be there, so I'd really like a nice lip to put on.

did u put s5 fenders on as well? because i thought the s5 bumper doesnt fit quite rite because of the s5 fenders bein widet then the s4 im probaly wrong though but yea i might like too do that if it was fairly strait forward (junk yard s5 front end hmm)

Haven't checked yet.

Meaning I made a shallow cut where the fold would be, and folded it back by hand. It holds the shape much better once it's bolted to the car.

Nope, just the bumpers. Fit just fine, there is, however, a part on the bottom side that the bumper is supposed to bolt to on both s4's and s5's. The s4 one is bumpy/wavey I guess you could say. It bends upward and the s4 bumper bolts to it, but on the s5 it's flat, so on that part the bumper isnt connected to. All the bottom/top/side bolts other than that part I described fit directly with no problem.

could you take pictures of where it's screwed/bolted on, and maybe cut a piece off the extra and demonstrate the process w/ pictures? I agree, yours looks reallly good, the pther guy that did it did a terrible job. Also, how long did it take, and what tools?

"why do people try to get SO MUCH money for those front lips?"

If you want, make it yourself! I'm sick of people trying to low-ball someone that tries to help out the community. So much? It's only $200. If that's too much, then sell your car and get a pedal bike. Do you know how much time and effort is required into making a lip? Alot more then $200 when it's all good and done. It'll be awhile before he sees a profit if you compare the time and effort he will spend on making something cool for the rest of the community.

This dosen't only apply to "front lips" but everything in general.

David

Hacksaw, snips, a screwdriver. It's not high quality.

you obviously haven't seen the quality of Dltreezan's work. He makes professional quality body parts that deserve professional quality prices.

btw, the rubber trim on the S4 door costs just under $200 from Mazda. I'd be terrified to call and ask what the stock S5 lip costs.

dude I am not talking about a little peice of plastic that i will sell. I am talking about making a peice and then a mold of that peice and sell them in fiberglass. It does take some time and I do this from my garage as a hobby. I like making hoods but they are a pain in the ***. This would be much easier and I can make it. At most I would probably sell ten of them but I like being creative. To me its more of an art that i can sell a few peices and be satisfied more than a business for right now. I remember that at one point someone was selling replicas of the feed lip for like 350, and here I am willing to make a brand new part for less than 200, id say thats a great price.
